Meshpack was founded on 6 June 1997 by signing the company's contract. With the lay of the foundation stone in October 1997 and the completion in June 1998 the production started. The number of employees grew from 14 to 37 plus one trainee by now. In June 2000 Meshpack was taken over by Karatzis S.A. from Greece and is now an important part of the group. With a total of five production sites within Europe and a capacity of approximately 20.000 tons per year the Karatzis S.A. is one of the largest net producer world wide. Meshpack, subsidiary of Karatzis S. A., supplies its bags to the Netherlands, Denmark, Poland, Austria, France, Italy and Germany, either.

Utilising years of experience of Karatzis in manufacturing nettings that stretch world wide the company has built up a global reputation for the reliability of high quality products. Now these products will be presented and introduced to the market by Meshpack. Karatzis' commitment to research and development guarantees continual product improvement and innovation.

This combined with advanced and efficient manufacturing, testing and controlling facilities will allow Meshpack to contribute to the advance of polyethlene netting technology world wide. Meshpack is able to take advantage of the latest developments in materials (premium grade raw materials) and process technologies.
