On 6th June 1997 the Meshpack Company was formally founded, and the foundation stone was laid in October 1997 at Kusey, which is located in the north of the German federal state of Sachsen-Anhalt.
The building of the factory and offices was completed in June 1998 and production commenced. In June 2000 Meshpack was bought by the Greek Company Karatzis S.A. (www.karatzis.gr) and is now an important part of the Group. In 2006 the factory was further expanded, creating further employment with an increased product range. Currently Meshpack employs a total of 73 people, including 5 in Administration and 3 trainees.

By the end of 2007 Meshpack total sales exceeded 3.200 tonnes, of which raschel bags accounted for 50% of that total. Our products are distributed throughout the whole of the world, but primarily in Europe and the German home market. This has been achieved by emphasis on quality using the best raw materials available on the most modern production machinery.
